Overview
With SundaySky's advanced editing options, you can take full control of the media assets in your scenes. These options include adjustments, filters, special effects, and blurs.
Use the adjustment sliders to precisely adjust a range of settings including brightness, saturation, and contrast. | Choose from a range of filters to enhance the asset's tone and color. |
Use special effects to manipulate and transform the media asset. |
Use blurs to direct attention to specific elements. |
All the advanced editing options described in this article apply to both a static image and to a video asset. WebM and GIF file types are currently not supported.
Applying an Advanced Editing Option
1. | Select the media asset that you want to edit. |
2. | On the toolbar, click the Edit media icon. |
3. | Click the Edit icon. |
The media asset is opened in the Media Editor. | |
4. | Edit the media asset according to your preferences. |
5. | After you finish editing, click Apply in the upper right corner. ▶ Note that clicking Apply applies all the edits that were made to the media asset while in the Media Editor. These can include adding a shape, cropping, trimming, etc. |
The thumbnail is updated with the edited media asset. | |
6. | Click anywhere outside the Media dialog window to close the window. |
The media placeholder is updated with the edited asset. | |
Advanced Editing Options
Use the adjustment sliders to change the media asset's hue, saturation, and contrast as well as other more advanced points of manipulation.
Apply a filter to the media asset to enhance or modify its appearance. After selecting a filter, you can use the slider beneath the selected filter to define its intensity.
Apply a special effect to the media asset. Each effect can be finetuned by configuring the parameters beneath the effect.
Apply a blur to the media asset. Each blur can be finetuned by configuring the parameters beneath the selected blur.
