Introduction
When you configure text according to the audience, a data field (for example, plan type) dictates the message that is displayed to viewers based on the audience they belong to. Using this personalization method, you can show different messages to different audiences based on an attribute.
In the example below, different messages are displayed to viewers based on the type of consumer plan they hold. Note that all the other components of the scene are identical.
This type of audience messaging is implemented using data that is passed to SundaySky for each viewer. In order to put it into action, you'll need to create the relevant data field together with the values that the data field can have.
See Managing the SundaySky Data Library to learn how to create data fields and values.
For example:
If you are displaying different messages based on credit card type,
you would create a data field called card type together with the possible values that this data field can have (gold, silver, platinum).

If you do not add the card type values, the data field will not be eligible for configuring text according to audience. |

Notes
1. |
You can create a variation using more than one audience. In such a case, the message you define will display if the viewer belongs to any of the audiences that have been selected. In the example below, the message will display if the viewer holds a Family plan or an Individual plan. |

3. |
To delete a variation, click the X in the relevant variation pane. |

The font size used for the text in the placeholder depends on the length of the text. The longer the text, the smaller the font size will be, to enable all the text to display in the placeholder. |
