Uploading Assets to the Media Library

The media library is where you can manage your images and videos all in one place. With all your assets located in this library, you can easily find and reuse them in your programs.

The media library is located at the account level, meaning that all users with access to your account can access the media assets in the library.

The following file formats are supported in the Editor:

Image Video
JPG, PNG, GIF MOV, FLV, MP4, WebM
Maximum file size: 2 MB Maximum file size: 80 MB


You can upload a single media asset to a specific placeholder or you can upload multiple assets and have them ready for future use. An asset uploaded to a specific placeholder is also automatically saved in the media library.


Uploading a Single Media Asset

1.

Access the program in the Editor.

From the scene line-up, select the scene that you want to work on.

Hover over the media placeholder to see the blue borders and then click inside the placeholder.

In the right pane, click the checkered thumbnail.
▶ If you are replacing an asset, a thumbnail of the current media asset is displayed.

Your media library is displayed, with all the media assets that have been uploaded to your account until now:

Click +Upload Media.

Upload your file using one of the following options:
a. Drag and drop the file to the area bordered by the dotted lines.
b. Click Upload From Computer and then locate and upload the file from your local or cloud storage.

The media asset is added to the library and is automatically selected (highlighted in blue):

Click Use at the bottom right of the page.

Uploading Multiple Media Assets

1.

Follow steps 1-5 for Uploading a Single Media Asset.
▶ When uploading multiple assets, you can access any program and select any media placeholder as you are doing so only to access the media library.

2.

Upload your files using one of the following options:
a. Drag and drop the files to the area bordered by the dotted lines.
b. Click Upload From Computer and then locate and upload the files from your local or cloud storage.

All the media assets are added to the library. To use any of these assets in a program, access the relevant placeholder, select the asset from the media library, and then click Use.
