Adding Stock Video Footage to a Scene

The SundaySky platform provides you with access to millions of stock video clips from the Getty libraries, spanning a wide range of topics. The videos, in a large variety of themes and styles, can be added to any media placeholder in a scene.


Adding Video Footage

1.

Access the relevant video.

2.

From the scene line-up, select the scene that you want to work on.

3.

Hover over the media placeholder to see the blue borders and then click inside the placeholder.

In the right panel, click the checkered thumbnail.
▶ If you are replacing an asset, a thumbnail of the current media asset is displayed.

In the media library, click Stock videos.

After you review the Getty terms, mark the checkbox and then click Accept.
▶ You will be able to access the Getty libraries only after you accept the terms and conditions.
▶ Once you have accepted the terms and conditions for either the images or videos, this message will no longer be displayed.

In the search bar, type what you are searching for and then press ENTER.
▶ As you browse the results, you can hover over the video thumbnails to watch a preview.

  Tips for Searching

1.

You can search for a specific phrase.
▶ For example: searching for company meeting retrieves videos of people participating in different types of meetings.

2.

If you want only illustration videos, include the word illustration in your search query.

3.

Include vertical in your search query if you are searching for videos with a vertical orientation and horizontal for videos with a horizontal orientation.

When you find the desired video, select the video and then click Use at the bottom of the page.
▶ You can also double-click the video.

The video is added to the placeholder.

9.

(Optional) If you'd like, you can now trim parts of the video to show only the portion relevant to your scene. See Trimming a Video Asset to learn how.

10.

Click Preview at the top of the page to preview the video.

11.

Play the video in the preview window.
