Overview
The Account Settings page is used both to manage users in your account and to define which features can be accessed by them.
The page can be accessed from two areas in the platform:
Once you access the page, you'll see two tabs: Users and Permissions.
- The Users tab is accessed when you need to manage the users in your SundaySky account. This includes creating new users, editing existing ones, and deleting users that are no longer needed.
- The Permissions tab is accessed to define which AI features are enabled for your account.
Users
At the top of the page, you'll see the number of allocated users out of the total number of available users in your account. Note that a user is consumed as soon as its details are added to this page and a welcome email is sent. In the example below, there are 6 available users and 3 are currently allocated.
When all the allocated users have been consumed, the following message is displayed and the Add user button is disabled. The number of users will vary based on your subscription plan.

1. | Access the Account Settings page. ▶ If you are the Account owner and have not yet added any users, only your user is displayed on the page, with Account owner appearing by your name. |
2. | Click + Add user. |
3. | Enter the user's email address. |
4. | Select the relevant user type. ▶ The actions a user can perform in the platform are determined by the user type. |
5. | Click Add. ▶ If you are adding a group of users, mark the Add another user checkbox to add more users without leaving this form. |
The user is added to the account with a status of pending and is sent a welcome email with login details. The pending status is assigned until the user logs in to SundaySky for the first time, changes the temporary password, and completes the sign-up process. During the sign-up process, users need to provide their full name and company role. |

Once the user completes the sign-up process, the pending status is replaced with the login date and the user's full name is added to the record. | |
Changing the User Type of a User
1. | Access the Account Settings page and then locate the user whose user type you want to change. |
2. | Click the Options menu at the end of the user's row and then select Edit. |
3. | Change the user type as required. |
4. | Click Save. |
The user type is changed. |
Note:
All the videos created by the user that you delete remain in the account and can be accessed by other users of the same account. The deleted user's name will continue to display as the creator of the video.
1. | Access the Account Settings page and then locate the user that you want to delete. |
2. | Click the Options menu at the end of the user's row and then select Delete. |
3. | If you are sure that you want to delete this user, click Delete. |
The user is deleted from the account. |
User Type | Description |
Editor | Enables the user to use all the platform features. |
Viewer | Enables the user to access the platform in read-only mode without the ability to edit existing videos or create new ones; dashboards can be viewed but reports cannot be viewed, created, edited, or sent. |
Permissions
The SundaySky Video Platform offers a suite of powerful AI features that streamline the video creation process and produce high-quality results.
In order for users of your account to use these features, they must first be enabled from this page.
Below are descriptions of the specific settings:
New AI feature enablement | |
Automatically enable new AI features as they are released. | When toggled on, all future SundaySky AI features are automatically available to all users of the account. If toggled off, all future AI features will be disabled by default. |
AI features | |
AI Copilot | When toggled on, the AI Copilot can be used to create videos. |
AI Image Generator | When toggled on, the AI Image Generator can be used to create images for use in video scenes. |
Copilot Music Suggestions | When toggled on, recommendations for music tracks to use in a video can be provided. |
AI Voice Library (required) | As this feature enables the use of AI voices in video, it is toggled on for all accounts and cannot be disabled. |
Avatars | |
Avatars | When toggled on, both stock and custom avatars can be used in videos. When toggled off, both stock and custom avatars cannot be used. |
Custom Avatars | When toggled on, custom avatars can be created and used in videos. |
Notes
1. | Beneath each AI feature name is a Learn more link that directs you to the related help article. In addition, there are links that direct you to the terms and conditions of the respective AI models used to develop the feature. |
2. | When an AI feature is disabled, it appears grayed out on the platform. Hovering over the option displays a tooltip prompting the user to contact the account owner to enable the feature. ▶ In the example below, AI Copilot has been disabled in the account. |
3. | A user who is not the account owner cannot configure settings on this page and can only view whether a feature is enabled. |
