Overview
The User Management page is used for granting users in your company access to the SundaySky Video Platform. When you grant access, you provide the user with login credentials together with permissions that define what actions the user can take inside the platform.
You need to have Account Manager permissions in order to create and manage users in your SundaySky account. If you need these permissions but do not have them, reach out to your contact at SundaySky.
The User Management page can be opened from either of the following two access points:
At the top of the page, you'll see the number of allocated users out of the total number of available users in your account. Note that a user is consumed as soon as its details are added to this page and a welcome email is sent. In the example below, there are 5 available users and 3 are currently allocated.
When all users have been consumed, the following message is displayed and the Add user button is disabled. The number of users will vary based on your subscription plan.
Adding a User
1. | Access the User Management page. ▶ If you are the Account Manager and have not yet added any users, only your user is displayed on the page, with Account manager appearing by your name. |
2. | Click + Add user. |
3. | Enter the user's email address. |
4. | Select the permissions that you want this user to have. |
5. | Click Add. ▶ If you are adding a group of users, check the Add another user checkbox to add more users without leaving this form. |
The user is added to the account with a status of pending and is sent a welcome email with login details. The pending status is assigned until the user logs in to SundaySky for the first time, changes the temporary password, and completes the sign-up process. During the sign-up process, users need to provide their full name and company role. |

Changing a User's Permissions
1. | Access the User Management page and then locate the user whose permissions you want to change. |
2. | Click the Options menu at the end of the user's row and then select Edit. |
3. | Change the permissions as required. |
4. | Click Save. |
The user's permissions are changed. | |
Deleting a User
Note:
All the videos created by the user that you delete remain in the account and can be accessed by other users of the same account. The deleted user's name will continue to display as the creator of the video.
1. | Access the User Management page and then locate the user that you want to delete. |
2. | Click the Options menu at the end of the user's row and then select Delete. |
3. | If you are sure that you want to delete this user, click Delete. |
The user is deleted from the account. |
Permissions
Permission | Description |
Editor | Enables the user to use all the platform features. |
Viewer | Enables the user to access the platform in read-only mode without the ability to edit existing videos or create new ones; dashboards can be viewed but reports cannot be viewed, created, edited, or sent. |
