Overview
An avatar added to a scene narrates the text that exists in the scene's narration placeholder. Instead of using only an AI voice, an avatar adds a human touch, increasing engagement and visual appeal.
If this is the first time that you are adding an avatar to a scene, we recommend that you read Using an Avatar—General Guidelines.
Here are key points to know about adding an avatar to a scene:
1. | We recommend previewing the avatar before adding it to the scene. While previewing, pay attention to the avatar's facial expressions and hand movements. These should match the tone and content of the narration. The audience that the avatar is addressing should also be taken into account. |
2. | Only one avatar can exist in a single scene. |
3. | An avatar can be positioned anywhere in the scene. |
4. | When an avatar is added to a scene, it is static and does not have any movement. |
5. | In order to add movement to an avatar, it needs to be animated. Animating an avatar requires credits. |
The guidelines in this article apply to both stock and custom avatars.

1. | In the scene, select the avatar. |
2. | On the toolbar, click the Delete icon. ▶ You can also press Delete or Backspace. |
3. | The avatar is deleted. |
