Overview
The benefits of organizing your videos in folders are numerous, chief among them easier and quicker retrieval.
As videos are saved on the account level, the Video Library will likely contain numerous videos created by different users of your account. Using folders to organize these videos promotes collaboration and efficiency.
Videos can be stored in folders and subfolders as well as in the root directory of the Video Library. There is no limit to the number of folders and subfolders that you can create.
Creating a Folder
1. | Access the Video Library. |
2. | Click the New folder icon at the top of the page. |
3. | Enter a name for the folder. |
4. | Click Create. |

Creating a Subfolder
1. | Access the Video Library. |
2. | In the Folders section, click the folder to which you want to add a subfolder. |
3. | Click the New folder icon at the top of the page. |
4. | Enter a name for the subfolder. |
5. | Click Create. |
The subfolder is added to the parent folder. | |
Moving a Video to a Folder
1. | In the Video Library, locate the video that you want to move. ▶ The video can be located in the root directory or in a folder. |
2. | Hover over the video thumbnail and then click the Options menu. |
3. | Select Move to folder. |
4. | Click the folder to which you want to move the video. If you need to reach a subfolder, continue clicking until you reach the desired folder. ▶ If required, you can create a new subfolder by clicking the New folder icon (located at the top of the window) after reaching the parent folder. |
5. | Review the folder path to make sure that this is where you want to move the video. |
6. | Click Move at the bottom of the window. |
A message is displayed at the bottom of the screen, confirming that the video has been moved. | |
Moving a Folder
1. | In the Video Library, locate the folder that you want to move. ▶ The folder can be located in the root directory or in another folder. |
2. | Hover over the folder icon and then click the Options menu. |
3. | Select Move to folder. |
4. | Navigate to the destination by clicking until you reach the desired folder. ▶ If required, you can create a new subfolder by clicking the New folder icon (located at the top of the window) after reaching the parent folder. |
5. | Review the folder path to make sure that this is where you want to move the folder. |
6. | Click Move at the bottom of the window. |

Renaming a Folder
1. | In the Video Library, locate the folder that you want to rename. |
2. | Hover over the folder icon and then click the Options menu. |
3. | Rename the folder and then click anywhere outside the name field to save the change. |

Deleting a Folder
When you delete a folder, the contents (videos and subfolders) located inside the folder are never deleted. Instead, they are moved one level up. Here are two examples of how this works:
- If the folder exists in the root of the Video Library, deleting the folder will move the contents directly to the Video Library.
- If the folder is a subfolder, deleting the subfolder will move the contents to the parent folder.
1. | In the Video Library, locate the folder that you want to delete. |
2. | Hover over the folder icon and then click the Options menu. |
3. | Select Delete. |
A message is displayed, informing you where the contents (of the deleted folder) will be moved to. | |
4. | If you are sure that you want to delete the folder, click Delete. |
The folder is deleted and its contents are moved one level up. |
Folder Details
To view details relating to a specific folder, click the Options menu on the folder icon and then select Details. Click through the tabs beneath the image to read descriptions of each individual detail.
This is the name given to the folder. If you would like, you can rename it from here.

The total number of items in the folder, specifying both subfolders (if relevant) and videos.
The date and time on which the folder name was last edited and by whom.
The date and time on which the folder was created and by whom.
