Overview
This article explains how to add on-screen text to a scene.
If you're creating a video from scratch, the text placeholders in each scene will be empty. If you're starting with a prebuilt video from the Inspiration Gallery, the placeholders will already contain text that you can keep, or edit to fit your message.
Once your text is added, you can format it using a variety of styling options.

Adding Text to a Scene
| 1. | Select the placeholder to which you want to add text. |
| 2. | On the toolbar, click Edit. |
| 3. | Type the text you want to display in the placeholder. ▶ By default, the text is formatted using the text style defined in the brand applied to this video. |
| 4. | (Optional) Format the text as bold or italic. ▶ You can select individual letters or words. |
| 5. | Click anywhere on the page. |
