If your scene layout includes a media placeholder that you do not want to use, you can hide it easily.
The placeholder can be hidden both when empty and when it contains a media asset. In both cases, you can unhide (show) the placeholder at any time and return the media asset to the scene.
To hide a media placeholder:

In the relevant scene, select the media placeholder that you want to hide. |

On the toolbar, click Show/Hide. |

Select Hide. |

|
The media placeholder is hidden and the toolbar icon indicates this state. |

You can always return the media placeholder to the scene by selecting Show. |
