Playing or Muting the Video Asset Sound

Overview

When you add a video asset with sound to a scene, you can choose whether to play the sound or mute it. In some cases, the audio from the video asset is important to the story. In other cases, you may prefer to mute the sound so that the background music and narration are more prominent.

Here are additional details about controlling the video asset sound:

  • By default, sound is turned on for a video asset that includes audio.

  • If a video asset is used for personalization, the sound setting (on or off) applies to all variations defined for the same placeholder.
