Creating a Video with Script to Video

Overview

Script to Video lets you turn a written narration script into a ready-to-edit video. You paste your script, and the AI builds a full video draft for you, including scenes, layouts, visuals, on-screen text, and music. This gives you a shaped starting point instead of a blank canvas, which is especially useful when your script has already been approved and you want to keep it as-is.

Before You Begin

  • Script to Video must be enabled for your account. An account owner can turn it on in the account settings, unless your account already has new AI features on by default.
  • Like Prompt to Video and Document to Video, this flow uses AI credits.
  • The generated video is a strong starting point, not a finished video. Plan to refine it in the Studio.

Creating a Video from a Script

  1. In the Studio, click Create.
  2. Select Use Script.
  3. Paste your narration script into the dialog. You can paste it as a single block of text and let the AI break it into scenes, or pre-split it yourself using line breaks or scene titles.
  4. Click to generate the brief.
  5. In the brief, choose how to handle your script:
    • Use script as is — keeps your wording exactly as written.
    • Optimize script with AI — lets the AI refine your wording.
  6. (Optional) Click View script to review the script before continuing.
  7. Set the remaining brief options as usual, such as tone, target audience, call to action, and brand.
  8. Click Create video draft.

The AI creates a complete video draft with on-screen text, assets, music, and voice, broken into scenes. You can then open it in the Studio and edit it like any other video.

Key Points

  • Scenes are recognized by line breaks or scene titles. Scene names from your script are not currently applied automatically.
  • The script can currently only be pasted into the flow.
  • If the script is not split into scenes the way you want, adjust the scenes in the Studio editor. In-flow splitting and refinement are not supported in this release.
