Overview

The audio levels in a video can be adjusted to levels that both suit your video and are balanced between them. These audio levels relate to the three sound sources in the video:

  • Voice-over
  • Music
  • Sound effects

Adjusting the volume of the voice-over and music can be especially helpful when you don't want one to overpower the other.

Note:
The audio levels that you adjust are applied to the entire video and not to a specific scene.

Adjusting the Audio Levels

1. Open the video in the Studio.
2. From the scene line-up, select any scene.
3. Click the preview button in the Workspace.

6. Use the volume sliders to adjust the audio level of each source, as needed.
▶ Click the sound icon Sound_level.pngto set the volume to a maximum of 150%.
▶ Click the mute icon Mute_level.png to turn the sound source off completely.
In the example below, the voice-over is played at a high volume while the background music is played at a lower level. This will enable the viewer to hear the voice-over more clearly.
