Adding Closed Captioning to a Video

The closed captioning that is displayed in the video you create is based on the text that you have added to the voice-over placeholders in the video scenes. The closed captioning is generated automatically.

Following are the key points to note about closed captioning in the SundaySky Video Platform:

1.

The text that you enter in the voice-over placeholder is what is used for the closed captioning.

2. If your video script includes personalization (using a personalization token or audience messaging), the closed captioning will change according to the viewer.

3. If you upload a video asset with sound to a scene—and do not add text to the voice-over placeholder—the relevant scene will not have closed captioning.
