Introduction

The Clicks section of the dashboard provides you with information and insights regarding the performance of the buttons in your video: which buttons are receiving the most views and clicks.

The data for all the widgets in this section is captured only from videos that were watched with the SundaySky player.

By default, you will see data from the last three months. Use the filters at the top of the page (date / channels / devices) to configure the data that you want to display.

Video button views

This widget includes the following data:
a.

Video button view rate: this percentage is calculated by dividing the number of views in which a button was displayed by the number of times that the video was viewed with the SundaySky player.

Click the tooltip by the widget to see the percentage of video views using the SundaySky player that was used for this calculation. In the example below, 92.7% of the video views used the SundaySky player. The remaining 7.3% of the video views did not use the SundaySky player and were therefore not included in the calculation.

Click rate

The bar graph in this widget displays the button click rate for each button that exists in the video. The bar for each button answers the questions:
In how many views was the button displayed?
In how many views was the button clicked?

Using the example above, each bar in the graph displays the following information:
a. The button name
b. The number of views in which the button was clicked. This number is represented in the bar by the segment that is displayed in dark blue.
c. The number of views in which the button was displayed. This number is represented in the bar by the segment that is displayed in light blue and the segment that is displayed in dark blue (since a button that was clicked was also displayed).
d. The button click rate. This percentage is calculated by dividing the number of views in which the button was clicked by the number of views in which the button was displayed.

If you used the SundaySky landing page builder to create a page for playing your video and this page includes a clickable button, the click rate metrics are displayed in a separate graph below the main bar graph.
