Overview
The SundaySky Video Platform includes three main areas: the Home Page, Video Page (specific to each video), and the Studio.
In this article, you'll find a general description of each area as well as guidelines on how to easily navigate from one area to another.
Home Page
Upon logging in to SundaySky, you first reach the Home Page. On the Home Page, you'll see the Video Library. The Video Library includes all the folders and videos in your account. A video can be located either in a folder or in the root directory (directly on the Home Page). See Video Library—Overview and Working with Video Folders to learn more.
The Home Page is also the area from which you will launch the creation of a new video by clicking New Video in the left sidebar.
From the Home Page, you can navigate to the two other areas as follows: | |
1. | To open a video in the Video Page, click anywhere on the video thumbnail. |
2. | To open a video in the Studio, click the pencil icon on the video thumbnail. |
If a video has not yet been created in your account, the Home Page will appear as in the example below:
Video Page
Every video in the SundaySky platform has a dedicated Video Page. This page—organized according to three tabs—has multiple purposes.
The Edit tab is your primary working tab where you can make and manage changes to your video. Together with providing an entry point to the Studio, you will use this tab to approve the video before moving on to the Share tab and sharing your video. On the right side of the page are the review options, enabling you to send the video to others even before it has been approved. Notifications regarding actions that you need to take on the video are also displayed on the right of the page. |
|
After approving the video in the Edit tab, the Share tab is where you package the video according to how you want to share it with your viewers. If your video uses data, this packaging also builds the personalized URLs that can then be distributed to your audience. See Sharing a Video to learn more. |
|
If you shared your video via Landing Page or Embed Video and the video has accumulated views, you can use the Analyze tab to track metrics and analytics. See Reading the Dashboards and Reporting to learn more. |
From the Video Page, you can navigate to the other areas as follows: |
|
1. | To return to the Home Page, click the SundaySky logo in the upper left corner. |
2. | To navigate to the folder in which the video is located, click the folder name on the left side of the page. If the video is located in the root of the Video Library, you'll be directed to the Home Page. |
3. | To open the video in the Studio for editing, access the Edit tab and then click Edit in the center of the page. |
Studio
The Studio is the SundaySky platform's core area, used for creating and editing a video.

While you work on an individual scene, the thumbnails in the line-up always remain visible. A scene-specific menu can be accessed from any scene in the line-up by clicking the Options menu in the upper right corner of the thumbnail.
