Overview
After adding a narration to a scene, you can preview the narration using the AI voice or avatar that you selected.
The guidelines in this article apply to previewing a narration as you work on a scene. If you would like to preview a narration while watching the full video, see Previewing a Video.
Previewing a Narration
1. | Open the relevant video in the Studio. |
2. | Make sure the AI voice you want to use for the video is selected. ▶ If you are also using avatars, make sure that they are added as well. |
3. | Select the scene whose narration you'd like to preview. |
4. | In the narration placeholder, click the arrow by the microphone icon and then select the voice that you want to use to preview the narration. ▶ If an avatar has been added to any scene in the video, its voice can be selected to preview all other scenes as well. ▶ When an avatar has been added to a scene, only the avatar's voice can be used to preview the narration. |
5. | Click the play button. |
As you listen to the narration, its duration is displayed in the placeholder. ▶ If the narration includes a personalization token, the name of the personalization token (for example: first name) is narrated and not the actual value. ▶ If the narration includes audience messaging, the fallback narration is played. |
|
6. | (Optional) If the narration is personalized with audience messaging, double-click the placeholder to preview all the variations. |
