Overview

An AI (text-to-speech) voice enables you to easily create narration directly from your script. Using an AI voice has many benefits, among them:

  • The narration is created immediately.
  • You are not dependent on any external resources. There is no need to find a suitable voice talent, coordinate recording sessions, review the recording, or have multiple iterations.
  • Using an AI voice is completely free of charge.
  • Editing the narration is quick and easy.

SundaySky Create includes a rich library of natural-sounding voices from which you can choose the one that best matches your content's tone and style.

All AI voices — both stock and those created with the Custom Voice feature — can be accessed from the Voice Library.

Selecting the Narration Language

Before choosing an AI voice, you need to select the narration language for your video. The language you choose determines which AI voices are available in the Voice Library.

If you change the language later, you may need to choose a different voice that supports the new language.

1. In the Studio, locate the language selector in the top bar (displayed with a flag icon and language code).

2. Click the selector, and then click Change narration source language.
3. From the drop-down list, select your preferred language.

Inside the Stock AI Voices Library

The Stock AI Voices Library offers a wide variety of AI voices. Each voice entry in the library shows key details to help you understand its characteristics. These details make it easy to quickly identify the language, style, and tone of each voice.

Voice attributes

Each voice entry is tagged with its main attributes, such as language and dialect, gender, age group, and tone. Voices with the Enhanced tag are especially natural-sounding, with excellent pronunciation and enunciation. They also handle common acronyms more accurately than other voices.

Previewing voices
  • Click the microphone icon to preview the voice.
  • For multilingual voices, select the language you want to preview from the drop-down list that appears.
Multilingual voices
  • A voice entry with a globe icon indicates that the voice supports multiple languages.
  • The primary language appears first, followed by the number of additional supported languages.
  • Hover over the globe icon to see the full list of languages.

Searching for a Voice

You can find the right AI voice for your video using the search bar and filters in the Voice Library.

Search bar

Use the search bar in the upper-right corner to search the entire library. Type keywords to find voices by name, attributes, or supported languages.

Filters

Use the filters at the top of the page to narrow the list by Gender, Age, or Tone.

Language filter
  • If a language has multiple dialects (for example, English or French), selecting the main language shows voices from all its dialects.
  • If you select more than one language in the filter, the search performs an AND operation: only voices that support all the selected languages appear. In the example below, selecting French and Italian will return only voices that speak both languages.

2. If you change the narration language and the currently selected voice does not support the new language, a message is displayed.
For example, if the language is changed from English to Dutch and the currently selected voice cannot speak Dutch, SundaySky will automatically select the AI voice Jessica, which is multilingual and supports Dutch.
After clicking Confirm & replace AI voice, you can choose a different voice if you prefer.

3. On January 15, 2025, expired voices were removed from the Voice Library except for those that are currently being used by videos in your account.
You can identify these voices by the Expired label that appears by their name.
