Overview
When you type text into a placeholder, that text is formatted (by default) according to the text style defined for the brand used in the video. Once that text is added, you can format it according to a variety of options. These options include bolding and italicizing.
There are cases where the text style defined for the text placeholder does not support either bold or italics (or both). When this occurs, you will see one of the following warning messages after accessing the text placeholder to add text, and know which formatting you cannot use.
At this stage, you can decide to change the text style in the brand to one that does enable the formatting that you need. Before doing so, note the warning below.
Warning:
A text style is a component of a brand. A brand can be applied to more than one video. If you change text styles in a brand, this will affect both the video you are currently working on as well as all videos using the same brand. We therefore recommend proceeding with caution.
