Overview

At times, you may find it necessary to remove a data library from a personalized video. There are two main reasons why you'll want to do this:

1. You want to completely remove the personalization from a video.
2. You want to duplicate a video, but without including its personalization or data library in the copy. See Duplicating a Video to learn how.

The process described in this article removes all forms of personalization, including:
Message by Audience
Using a personalization token (for text or narration)
Show/Skip Scene
Brand by Audience
Logo by Audience

Warning:

Once a data library is removed, the action cannot be undone. We therefore recommend proceeding with caution.

Changes to Video Content After Removing Personalization

After removing the data library from a video, all personalization in the video is immediately removed. Depending on how the video was configured, following are examples of the changes that will occur:

1. On the Video Page, it is indicated that the video is not personalized as the data library is no longer connected to the video.
